Alright, guys, gather ’round! Today, I’m diving into something I’ve been messing with in Baseball 9: skill tokens. It took me a bit to figure out the best way to use these things, so I figured I’d share my experience and save you some headache.
My First Steps
First off, I started by just playing the game – a lot. I mean, you gotta get those tokens somehow, right? So I focused on League Mode, grinding through games, and racking up those wins. Daily missions are also super important, don’t skip them! Don’t forget completing achievements as well, I got a surprisingly good amount of tokens from those.
Getting My Hands on Tokens
The main way I got tokens was through:

- League Mode: Winning games, getting MVPs, that sort of stuff.
- Daily Missions: These refresh every day, so it’s a consistent source.
- Achievements: Check the list and try to clear some, the rewards can be worth it!
Figuring Out Where to Spend Them
Okay, so I had a bunch of tokens. Now what? I went to the “Player” menu, then tapped on one of my guys. I saw the “Skill” option and hit that. Initially, I just randomly upgraded skills. Big mistake! I realized pretty quickly that some skills are way more valuable than others, especially early on.
My “Aha!” Moment
I did some experimenting (and yeah, wasted a few tokens in the process). What I found that I need to upgrade skills in an orderly fashion. So I can make my players hit better or run better according to my needs.
Putting It All Together
So, here’s my current strategy:
- Get the tokens.
- Go to my player’s skill menu.
- Upgrade the chosen skill.
It’s not rocket science, but it definitely made a difference in my game. I hope this will help my skill improve a lot faster.
