Well, now, folks, let me tell ya, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series is shaping up real good. Ain’t nobody seen this kind of hustle before, with all them teams making big moves even way back in May 2024. Lots of changes, new faces, and some old ones hangin’ around, you know how it is! But here we are, lookin’ ahead at what’s comin’ up in 2025, and I gotta say, it’s gonna be somethin’ special!
Now, I reckon a lotta folks been talkin’ about this whole 32-driver field thing they got planned for the summer of 2025. Yep, it’s true, they’re gonna have 32 drivers in that there Cup Series, and let me tell ya, it’s got people stirrin’ up all sorts of excitement. From what I hear, them teams are all geared up for the in-season tournament, and if you think the competition’s tough now, well, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
And speakin’ of them teams, NASCAR done went and released the full 2025 schedule just the other day, and I can tell you, it’s a doozy. It’s gonna be a 38-week grind, and lord knows, them drivers gonna be runnin’ hard week after week. Some folks out there are already countin’ down the days, and I don’t blame ’em one bit!

As for the driver lineup, well, it’s lookin’ mighty different. Folks been changin’ seats like it’s a game of musical chairs. Let me tell ya some of the changes I been hearin’ about:
- Justin Haley is gonna be drivin’ the #7 car for Spire Motorsports come 2025. Now that’s a move people been talkin’ about, and it’ll be real interestin’ to see how he handles that ride.
- Corey LaJoie, well, he ain’t confirmed for Rick Ware Racing yet. Looks like we’ll have to wait and see where he lands.
- Shane Van Gisbergen is gonna be takin’ over the #88 car full-time for Trackhouse Racing. Folks over there are mighty excited to see what he can do in that machine.
- Zane Smith and Trackhouse Racing, well, they’re partin’ ways at the end of this season. No hard feelin’s, just time for a change, I reckon.
Now, I know there’s plenty of buzz around the Toyota camp too. They got a multiyear deal goin’ for that #19 Toyota Camry, and that’s sure to make waves once the 2025 season kicks off. We’ll be seein’ a lotta them Toyotas out there, and from what I hear, they’re gonna be real tough to beat.
And don’t forget about Chase Briscoe! He’s been drivin’ that #14 Ford at Stewart-Haas Racing, but now, come 2025, he’s makin’ the switch to a top-tier ride with a powerhouse team. Gonna be real excitin’ to watch him out there, see if he can take that car all the way to the top!
So, to sum it all up, the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series is shaping up to be a real wild ride. Lots of new faces, new deals, and a whole lotta competition. You better believe folks are gonna be watchin’ every lap and every turn of that track. It ain’t just about the cars, it’s about who can hold their own out there. And by the looks of it, there’s gonna be a whole lotta folks gunnin’ for the top spot!
Now, I don’t know about y’all, but I’m lookin’ forward to seein’ what happens. The 2025 season is comin’ fast, and it’s gonna be a doozy!
