Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out this whole “Can I watch NFL on Disney Plus?” thing. It seemed like a simple question, but wow, it got a little confusing. Here’s how my whole search went down.
My Initial Thought Process
I figured, “Disney Plus has a ton of stuff, maybe they have NFL too?” Seemed logical enough at first. I mean, they own ESPN, right? So, I grabbed my remote and got comfy on the couch, ready to dive in.
First Attempt: Straight to Disney Plus
I fired up the Disney Plus app on my TV. I started poking around, looking in all the usual places – sports, live TV, everything. I used the search bar, typing in “NFL,” “football,” “Super Bowl,” you name it. Nothing. Zilch. Just a bunch of Mickey Mouse cartoons and superhero movies. Which is cool, but not what I was after at that moment.

Getting a Little Frustrated
I was starting to get a little annoyed. I thought, “This should be easy!” So, I grabbed my phone and started Googling. I typed in “watch NFL on Disney Plus” and got a whole bunch of articles. Some were helpful, some…not so much.
The ESPN+ Confusion
A lot of what I found talked about ESPN+. And yeah, Disney owns ESPN. So I thought, “Maybe it’s on ESPN+? That’s gotta be it!” I went back to my TV, found the ESPN+ app (which is separate from Disney+, I later learned), and started searching there.
I saw some live sports, but mostly college stuff, soccer, and some other things. Still no NFL. I’m thinking, “What am I missing here?!”
The Realization
After more digging around online, and reading a few articles more carefully this time I find the ESPN+ don’t broadcast the NFL live game.
The Conclusion
So, here’s the deal, as far as I can tell: You can’t watch live NFL games directly on Disney Plus. No.
