Alright, so today I wanted to watch the Mississippi State baseball game. But, I had no clue when it was scheduled or what channel it was on. I grabbed my phone and started my usual routine.
I opened my browser and started typing “what time does mississippi state play baseball today on tv”. I got a bunch of results, but nothing was very clear. One result was talking about general TV guides, another was listing channels, and another had a bunch of international news. It wasn’t what I needed at all.
Digging Deeper
I decided to refine my search. I started looking through the various TV listings and guides. It was a mess. Most of them were just generic guides that didn’t have the specific game I was looking for.
- First site I checked was all about “what to watch on TV today, tonight and beyond”. It listed a bunch of channels like ITV, BBC, Channel 5, Film4, Sky Sports, but no specific game.
- Next, I landed on another site that claimed to have a “TV Guide and Listings for all UK TV channels; BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Freeview, Sky”. Still nothing specific about the Mississippi State game.
- Then I tried one that said, “Get today’s TV listings and channel information for your favorite shows, movies”. Nope, no baseball.
- I stumbled upon a French site talking about “le Programme TV de toutes les channes TNT, Cble et Satellite”. I don’t speak French, so that was a dead end.
- Another one was just showing live international news. “Suivez toute l’information avec France 24 en direct”. Not helpful.
- I found one that said, “TV Guide – Today’s broadcast. The content you requested does not exist or is not available anymore”. Great, just what I needed.
- Checked another that claimed to have a “Network Prime Time TV shows guide”. It had listings for ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, but still no baseball.
- The last one I looked at was a site with “the latest TV, Netflix and Prime Video news, recommendations”. Nothing about sports at all.
No Luck
Honestly, it was frustrating. I spent a good chunk of time clicking through sites, and I still had no idea when the game was on or where to watch it. It seems like finding specific game times and channels isn’t as easy as it should be.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure today trying to find out about the Mississippi State baseball game. Didn’t really get anywhere, but it was definitely an experience. Maybe I’ll have better luck next time. Or maybe I should just stick to watching highlights afterward.
