Okay, so, I got this idea the other day to make some extra cash, and it’s a bit wild, but hear me out – boxing. Yeah, I know, sounds crazy, right? But I went for it, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride.
First off, I had to get myself in some sort of shape. I mean, I wasn’t exactly ready to jump into the ring. So, I started hitting the gym, doing some basic training. Running, lifting, the whole nine yards. It was rough at first, ngl, I was sore in places I didn’t even know existed.
Then, I found a local boxing gym. It was a bit intimidating, walking in there with all those guys who looked like they knew what they were doing. But, I signed up for some classes. The coach, he’s a tough old dude, really pushed me. Learned the basics – jabs, hooks, uppercuts. It’s way harder than it looks on TV, trust me.

After a few weeks, I felt like I was getting the hang of it. So, I started sparring. Getting punched in the face is not fun, let me just say that. But, it’s part of the deal, you know? And I got a good shot in sometimes.
Now, here’s where the money part comes in. I found this site that has some small gigs, and signed up for a local amateur fight. Nothing big, just a small event. I had to pay a small fee to enter, but there was a prize for the winner. I trained my butt off for that fight. It was nerve-wracking, stepping into the ring, but also kinda exciting.
I lost. But I got paid something for showing up and my friend got me a deal with a local sponsor. That was a good time. But hey, I got paid something just for showing up. That’s when I realized, there might be something to this boxing thing.
I kept training, kept fighting. Won some, lost some. But every fight, I got a little bit better, and the paychecks started getting a little bit bigger. Then, I figured, why not try to make some extra cash on the side? I started offering personal training sessions at the gym. People actually signed up! They wanted to learn how to box, and I was there to teach them.
So now, I’m not just getting paid to fight, but also to teach. And you know what? I’m even thinking about starting my own little boxing fitness class. Group sessions, you know? Like, regular folks who just want to get in shape and learn some boxing moves. It’s all about finding different ways to make money from this thing.
It’s not been easy, not at all. There have been ups and downs, good days and bad days. But, I’m sticking with it. Because I found something I actually enjoy doing, and I’m making some money from it. It’s not a get-rich-quick scheme, it’s hard work, but it’s worth it. And who knows where it might lead? Maybe one day, I’ll be fighting in bigger events, making some serious cash. Or maybe I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing, helping people get fit and having fun along the way.

So, that’s my story about how I started making money from boxing. It’s a bit unconventional, maybe a bit crazy, but it’s my journey, and I’m enjoying the ride. And hey, if I can do it, maybe you can too. Just be prepared to sweat, to get hit, and to keep pushing yourself, even when it gets tough.
