Okay, here’s my story about figuring out the last time Kentucky beat Alabama in football.
So, I was watching some college football the other day, and it got me thinking – I couldn’t remember the last time the Kentucky Wildcats pulled off a win against the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide. I mean, Alabama’s been such a powerhouse, especially in recent years. It felt like ages since Kentucky had managed to get one over on them.
Being the curious person I am, I started digging around. My first stop? You guessed it, the internet. I started searching through these database sites, you know, the ones that have all the stats and historical data you could ever want. I found some interesting tidbits. Like, did you know that the first time these two teams played was way back in 1917? Crazy, right? And that Alabama won that first game.
But I was on a mission to find Kentucky’s last win. I kept scrolling and reading, and then I saw it. October 4, 1997. That’s the date. Kentucky 40, Alabama 34. It was a close one!
