Alright, so I wanted to figure out if the Texas A&M baseball team, the Aggies, had a game today. First, I just did a quick search online to see what I could find out about their schedule.
I started looking around for anything related to baseball schedules. I saw some stuff about McMurry University War Hawks’ roster for 2025, which, you know, isn’t really what I was looking for, but it was baseball-related.
- I noticed mentions of updated player stats but nothing about a game schedule or a “Start Today” option. That was a dead end.
- I saw some search results mentioning URL encoding, like changing “%252C” to a comma. That seemed way too technical for what I needed. I mean, I just wanted a simple game schedule.
I even stumbled upon something about how to do CPR, with details on hand placement and depth of compressions. Totally off-topic, but hey, it’s good to know, I guess.

Then there was this bit about when you should cite sources in your work, which reminded me of my college days. Not really helpful for finding a baseball game schedule, though.
I also found some weather updates for Boston, MA. Again, not relevant, but it showed that I was getting way off track with my search.
Oh, and I learned that a mitochondrion is an organelle in plants and animals. I already knew that, but the search engine was just throwing random facts at me at this point.
After going through all these unrelated results, I realized I needed to be more specific in my search to find out if the Aggies were playing today. My initial searching attempt was all over the place.
I thought, okay, let me focus on the official sources. Where would the most accurate and up-to-date schedule be? That’s when I checked out the official Texas A&M Athletics website. This was a good idea.
Bingo! Right there on the official site, they had the full schedule. And guess what? The Aggies did have a game today! It was all laid out nicely, with the opponent, time, and location. Finally, I had my answer.

So, yeah, that’s how my little adventure went. It started messy, but once I got to the right place – the official A&M site – it was all clear. There’s a game on today, and I’m all set to watch it now.
That’s the whole story! A bit of a bumpy road, but I got there.
