Alright, so you wanna know ’bout them Mizzou football season tickets, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t as simple as buyin’ a sack of potatoes, that’s for sure.
First off, what in the tarnation is a season ticket anyway? It’s like this, you pay once and you get to see all the home games. No need to fuss with buyin’ tickets every week, you’re all set. Like buyin’ a whole buncha eggs at once instead of just one at a time, ya see?
Now, how much do they cost? That’s the real kicker, ain’t it? I heard tell they was $560 for the whole season in 2025, or about $80 a game. But that was a couple years back, mind you. Prices, they go up like the price of milk, always changin’.

- They got different kinds of seats too, just like in church. Some are fancier, some are plain.
- The fancy ones, they cost more, naturally. Like them pews up front, closer to the preacher, those are always more expensive.
- And then there’s the parking. You gotta pay for that too, unless you wanna walk a mile in the hot sun. And even then, the closer you park the more you pay, just like at the store – the closer it is to the door the more it costs.
They say you can get all the info online, on your computer thingy. But shoot, I don’t know nothin’ ’bout that. My grandson, he’s good with that stuff. He showed me once, all them fancy pictures of the stadium and where you can sit. Said you can even take a “virtual tour” or somethin’. Sounded like a buncha hooey to me, but the young folks, they like that stuff.
If you already had tickets last year, you can just “renew” ’em. That means you pay again and keep your same seats. Like keepin’ your same spot at the bingo hall, ya know? Don’t wanna lose your lucky seat, do ya?
They play a whole buncha teams, I tell ya. Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky… sounds like a buncha faraway places to me. My grandpappy used to say, “football is football, no matter who’s playin’.” He was a smart fella, my grandpappy.
And where do you buy these tickets? Well, they say you can get ’em on somethin’ called “Ticketmaster.” Sounds like some kinda wizard to me. But my grandson says it’s just a website. You go on there, clickety-clack on them buttons, and give ’em your money. And then, poof! You got tickets. Magic, I tell ya, pure magic. Or maybe it’s just the internet, whatever that is.
I also heard tell that they sold a whole mess of tickets last year, somethin’ like 40,000! That’s a whole lotta people yellin’ and screamin’ for them Tigers. Makes my head hurt just thinkin’ about it.
So, if you really wanna know how much them tickets cost this year, you best go ask someone who knows ’bout them computer things. Or maybe call the ticket office, if they still got those. Just tell ’em you wanna see the Tigers play and they’ll figure somethin’ out for ya. And don’t forget to bring your checkbook, ’cause them tickets ain’t free, that’s for sure. And hey, if you get an extra ticket, you can always bring ol’ Granny along, I ain’t seen a good football game in ages!

The best value for Mizzou fans is to buy season tickets, or so they say. So if you are planning on going to more than a few games, that might be the way to go. Now I’ve got to go make some supper. This talk about football has got me hungry.
