Alright, listen up, y’all. I’m gonna tell ya ’bout this PrizePicks NBA Fantasy thing, how the scorin’ works and all that jazz. Don’t expect no fancy words, I’m just gonna lay it out plain and simple, like how we talk ’round here.
So, this PrizePicks thing, it ain’t like them complicated fantasy leagues where you gotta draft players and trade ’em and whatnot. Nah, it’s easy peasy. You just pick a few players, two to six of ’em, and say if they gonna score more or less points than what the smart folks think they will. That’s the projection, or whatever they call it.
Now, how they get them points? It’s pretty much like what most folks use for fantasy basketball, they call it PPR or somethin’. Let me break it down for ya:

- One point for each point your player scores. You know, like when they swish that ball through the hoop.
- One point for each rebound they grab. That’s when they snatch the ball outta the air after a missed shot.
- One point for each assist. That’s when they pass the ball to a teammate who then scores.
- One point for each steal. That’s when they take the ball away from the other team.
- One point for each block. That’s when they smack the ball away when someone’s tryin’ to shoot.
- Minus one point for each turnover. That’s when they mess up and lose the ball to the other team. Nobody wants that.
See? Not too hard, right? Just add up all them points, and that’s your player’s fantasy score. If your player gets more points than what they said he would, you win that pick. If he gets less, well, you lose that one. The more picks you get right, the more money you win. It’s like bettin’ on the horses, but with basketball players.
They got all sorts of players you can pick from, the big stars, the benchwarmers, everybody. And they got different numbers for each player, dependin’ on how good they are and who they playin’ against. You gotta use your head a little bit, think about who’s gonna have a good game and who’s gonna have a bad one. It ain’t just luck, you gotta have some smarts too. Though sometimes even them smart fellers get it wrong.
I heard some folks talkin’ about this SleeperApp thing too. Sounds like another place where you can do fantasy sports. Football, basketball, even that League of Legends game the youngsters are always playin’. But PrizePicks, that’s what we’re talkin’ ’bout today. Keeps things simple, ya know?
Now, don’t go gamblin’ away all your money on this thing. It’s supposed to be fun, not a way to get yourself in trouble. Set a limit, stick to it, and don’t go chasin’ your losses. That’s what my old man always used to say, God rest his soul. He wasn’t talkin’ ‘bout basketball, mind you, but the advice still fits.
So, that’s the long and short of it. PrizePicks NBA Fantasy scoring, it ain’t rocket science. Points for points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. Minus points for turnovers. Pick your players, say more or less, and see if you can win some cash. Just remember to keep it fun and don’t get carried away. And if you don’t understand somethin’, ask one of them young’uns to explain it to ya. They good at that computer stuff.
One more thing, them projections, they ain’t set in stone. They change all the time, dependin’ on if a player gets hurt or if the coach decides to bench him. So, you gotta pay attention and make sure you know what’s goin’ on before you make your picks. It’s like farmin’, gotta keep an eye on the weather and the crops, or you gonna end up with nothin’.

Alright, I think I’ve said enough. Go on now, and try your luck. But remember what I told ya, and don’t come cryin’ to me if you lose all your money! This old lady ain’t got none to spare.
