Well, hey there, y’all! Let’s talk about this racin’ stuff, who won what and where they started. It’s always a big deal, you know, who gets that fancy pole position.
So, I heard tell that Ross Chastain, that fella, he went and snagged the pole for the Go Bowlin’ at The Glen race. That was up at Watkins Glen. Yep, he was the fastest one that day, put his car right up front. Good for him, I say. Always nice to see a fella do good.
Then there was another race, down in Talladega. That’s a fast track, they say. Real fast. And Michael McDowell, he was the one who got the pole there. For the YellaWood 500, they called it. He must’ve had a real good car that day, or maybe he just ate his Wheaties. Who knows? But he was the fastest, and that’s all that matters when it comes to qualifyin’.

- Watkins Glen: Ross Chastain got the pole.
- Talladega: Michael McDowell got the pole.
Now, they got this fella, Martin Truex Jr. He’s been racin’ a long time, a real veteran. And he went and got himself the pole for the championship race down in Phoenix. That’s a big deal, you know, the championship. Everyone wants to win that one. They say he’s retirin’ after this, so good for him to go out on top, at least for the start of the race. He put in a good lap, they said, real fast. 134.741 miles per hour, whatever that means. Sounds fast to me!
I also heard about Ryan Blaney. He was in a real tussle with Joey Logano for the lead in a race. Sounded like a real nail-biter! They battled it out, neck and neck, right down to the wire. And Blaney, he came out on top. He won that one. And not just that race, but he even went and won the whole darn championship last year, in 2023. That’s somethin’ special, let me tell you. He’s a good driver, that Blaney fella.
So, you see, there’s a lot of racin’ going on, and a lot of different fellas winnin’ poles and races. It’s hard to keep track of it all, but it’s always excitin’. And this Blaney, he’s one tough racer, passed Chase Elliott there at Martinsville with only 14 laps left! That boy can drive, I tell ya. Always something happening, someone going fast, someone winning. That’s what makes it fun to watch, even if I don’t always understand all the rules and such. It’s just good ol’ fashioned racin’, and that’s what I like.
Joey Logano, he’s another one they talk about. He and Blaney, they battled it out at Phoenix too, ended up with Blaney gettin’ second. But Logano, he went and won himself three championships, so he’s no slouch either. These boys, they’re always at it, always tryin’ to be the best. That’s what makes it excitin’ to watch, seein’ who comes out on top.
This year, it all came down to the final four: Ryan Blaney, William Byron, and two other fellas whose names slip my mind right now. It’s always a battle, and you never know who’s gonna win until the very end. That’s why they call it racin’!
So, that’s the lowdown on who won what and where they started, as best as I can figure it. It’s a lot to keep up with, but it’s always fun to hear about these fellas racin’ their hearts out.
