Okay, so I was chilling the other day, watching some F1 highlights, and a question popped into my head: Does Red Bull really have two Formula 1 teams? I mean, I knew about Red Bull Racing, obviously, but I’d also heard of this other team, and I wasn’t sure if it was, like, a junior team or something completely separate.
So, I started digging. My first move? Good ol’ Google. I just typed in “Red Bull F1 teams” and went down the rabbit hole.
My Research Process
- I checked out the official F1 website. They list all the teams, and sure enough, there were two with “Red Bull” in the name.
- Then I dove into some fan forums and articles. Lots of people were talking about the relationship between the teams, and it got a bit confusing with all the technical jargon.
- I watched videos, like team introductions, and some interviews.
It took me a while, piecing everything together. Turns out, it’s kind of a “yes and no” situation. Red Bull does own two F1 teams.

It is called Red Bull Racing, the one with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The other team. Which used to be called Toro Rosso, and now named Visa Cash App RB (I know, it’s a mouthful!).
So, yeah, Red Bull basically has two horses in the F1 race. It’s a pretty smart move, when you think about it – more chances to win, more data to gather, and a way to train up young drivers. I’m no F1 expert, but that’s what I figured out!
