So, I got really into Formula 1 a while back, and COTA, Circuit of the Americas, that’s like the big track here in the States.
Naturally, I started digging around to find out when the next race was, you know, typical fan stuff. I usually just kinda wing these things, but this time I decided to be all organized about it.
I fired up my laptop and went straight to the official F1 website. They’ve got a full calendar and all the details right there.

- Looked through the calendar.
- Found the US Grand Prix.
- Saw it was scheduled for a weekend in October.
But then I thought, “Hey, I should probably double-check this.” No way I’m planning a whole trip just based on one source, right?
So, I checked a couple of other racing news sites, just to be sure. All of them had the same dates. October it is!
Then came the slightly tricky part. I needed to figure out how to get tickets. Usually, they’re released a few months in advance. I decided to sign up for email alerts from the COTA website, and some other ticket vendors.
To keep track of it all, I made a note in my phone’s calendar with reminders. I even set it to give me notifications as the date got closer. You know, so I don’t miss out on the tickets.
Oh, and I also started looking into flights and hotels, just to get an idea of prices. It’s not like I booked anything yet, but it’s good to know what I’m getting into.
And that’s pretty much it. Now it’s just a waiting game. Hopefully, I’ll be sitting in those stands at COTA this October, watching those cars zoom by!

It’s crazy how a simple question like “When is COTA F1?” turned into this whole mini-project. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Oh, and one last thing. While I was searching, I stumbled upon some cool facts about the track itself, like how it was designed and stuff. I might do a deep dive into that later, but for now, I’m just hyped about the race!
