Okay, so, I really wanted to go to the F1 race in Vegas. I’d heard it was like, the most expensive race ever, so I was curious. How much would it actually cost to go?
Digging into Prices
I started looking around, and man, the prices were all over the map. There were some general admission tickets, like, standing-room-only type stuff. The cheapest I found was $99 for just one day, and I saw $600 for three days in what they called the “Flamingo Zone” by Caesars. I think those were the cheapest seats, no actual assigned seat, just a spot to stand and watch.
Then I checked out a site, something like F1Destinations, and they said the average ticket price for the Vegas race was over $1,600! Can you believe that? That’s insane. I mean, I know it’s Vegas, but still. They did mention that this year the race had more ticket options, maybe to make it a bit more affordable for regular folks.

Fancy Stuff
Of course, there’s the super fancy stuff too. I read about this Bellagio Fountain Club thing, where tickets were going for $12,500! Each! I guess you get a killer view and all the fancy food and drinks you could ever want, but wow, that’s a lot of money.
I also learned that you probably won’t be able to watch the race for free anywhere. Apparently, last year they put up these big barriers to block the view from sidewalks and bridges. So much for sneaking a peek!
Making a Decision
After seeing all these prices, I was pretty bummed. I mean, $99 is not bad for one day, but it’s still a lot, and you’re not even guaranteed a good view. And the thought of spending over $1,600 for a decent seat? No way.
So, yeah, I decided to skip the Vegas F1 race this year. It’s just too expensive for me. I’ll probably just watch it on TV. Maybe one day, when I’m rich and famous, I’ll splurge on those Bellagio tickets. But for now, I’ll stick to dreaming about it.
