So, I’m really into baseball, and I’ve been following the schedules like a hawk. I heard through the grapevine that the 2025 schedule for some college teams was out, and I got super excited. I had to check it out for myself, you know?
First thing I did was look up when the full schedule would be released. Turns out, it’s coming out later this fall. That’s a bit of a wait, but it’s something to look forward to. While I was at it, I saw that UT announced its full schedule, which got me even more pumped. I love seeing how the season is gonna shape up.
Then, I saw something that really caught my eye: Tennessee and Texas A&M are going to have a national championship rematch in early April! Mark your calendars for April 4-6 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. I mean, how awesome is that? I immediately started thinking about whether I could make it to Knoxville for that. It’s a must-see, for sure.

- March 14-16: FLORIDA in Knoxville, Tenn.
- March 21-23: at Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
I started digging a little deeper and found some other interesting matchups. For instance, Alabama A&M has some cool games lined up.
- Visiting Texas Southern (March 28-30)
- Visiting UT-Martin (April 1)
- Visiting Alabama State (April 4-6)
These games are definitely worth noting. It’s always fun to see how different teams stack up against each other.
I also found out that Texas A&M’s 2025 SEC schedule was released. Apparently, their roster is packed with future MLB talent, so that’s something to keep an eye on. Their fans are pretty wild, too. I read somewhere that they’re famous for chanting “ball five” when the opposing pitcher throws five consecutive balls. It’s hilarious and adds to the whole atmosphere of the game.
What’s in a Name?
Speaking of Texas A&M, I was curious about what “A&M” actually stands for. It used to be “Agricultural and Mechanical,” but now the letters are more of a nod to their history. When the school opened in 1876, it was the first public higher education institution in Texas, and it was called the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. Pretty cool, right?
Anyway, I spent a good chunk of my day just diving into all this baseball news and schedules. It’s a great way to get hyped for the upcoming seasons. I just love the energy and excitement around college baseball. I even found a local radio station, The Zone, that’s all about Texas A&M sports. It’s 1150AM/93.7FM for anyone interested. They cover all the games, news, and promotions. I might have to tune in sometime.
That’s basically how I spent my day today, geeking out over baseball schedules and tidbits. It’s the little things that make being a fan so much fun. Can’t wait for the season to start!
