Well, I tell ya, figuring out when them Nebraska baseball boys play ain’t always easy. It’s like they change their minds more often than I change my socks! But let me see if I can get it straight for ya.
Nebraska Baseball Schedule Shenanigans
Seems like they play all over the place and at all sorts of times. One time they’re playin’ at 1 p.m. on a Sunday, and the next thing ya know, they’re battlin’ it out at noon on a Saturday. And don’t even get me started on all them different channels you gotta find ’em on! Big Ten Network, sometimes somethin’ else… it’s enough to make your head spin.
I heard tell they just won somethin’ called the Big Ten Baseball Tournament. Beat Penn State, they did. Two to one! Good for them, I say. Always makes me proud to see our boys doin’ well.
- Big Games and Tournaments: Seems like they’re always in some kinda tournament or big game. Like that Big Ten thing, and then there’s this other one, the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Busy boys, they are.
- Game Times and Channels: Like I said, game times are all over the place. One time it’s Saturday, another time it’s Sunday… and you gotta check the TV guide to see where it’s playin’. Big Ten Network, mostly.
- Playing Against Big Schools: Heard tell they play against big schools like Oklahoma State and Florida. Fancy that! Must be some tough competition, those schools.
Now, I also heard somethin’ about them playin’ Florida on a Friday. Don’t ask me what time, though. You’ll have to look that up yourself. And if they lose that one, they gotta play again on Sunday, maybe even Monday! It’s like they never stop playin’ ball.
Where Them Boys Play
They play at a place called Hawks Field at Haymarket Park. Heard it’s a real nice place, one of the best in the country, they say. Got all sorts of fancy stuff, like an 18,000 square foot trainin’ complex. Sounds mighty impressive, doesn’t it?
There’s another team that plays there too, the Lincoln Saltdogs. They’re some kinda professional team, but I don’t pay them no mind. It’s the Nebraska boys I care about.
Tryna Figure Out the Schedule
So, when exactly does Nebraska baseball play? Well, that’s the million-dollar question, ain’t it? It depends on what game you’re talkin’ about. Seems like they always got somethin’ comin’ up.
Your best bet is to check their website. They got somethin’ called a “schedule” there, whatever that is. It’s supposed to tell you when and where they’re playin’. But I tell ya, it ain’t always easy to understand. All them numbers and dates and times… it’s enough to make an old woman like me go cross-eyed.
Rootin’ for the Huskers
But no matter when they play, I’ll be rootin’ for them Huskers. They’re our boys, and I’m proud of ’em. Win or lose, they always give it their all, and that’s all that matters. So, turn on that TV, find the right channel, and cheer ’em on! Go Big Red!
And if you still can’t figure out when they play, just ask your neighbor. Chances are, they know more than I do! Or just wait till you hear the hollerin’ down the street – that’ll mean the Huskers are playing again!
