Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out this whole NFL Sunday Ticket thing and how it works with DirecTV Stream. I’m a huge football fan, and I really wanted to make sure I could watch all the games, especially the out-of-market ones.
My Initial Plan
I initially thought, “Hey, I’ll just get DirecTV Stream, and surely they’ll have Sunday Ticket, right?” I mean, DirecTV is known for its sports packages, so it seemed like a no-brainer.
Hitting a Roadblock
I went to the DirecTV Stream website, started poking around, looking at the different packages. I looked through all their channels, and… nothing. No mention of NFL Sunday Ticket. I was like “Wait, did I read it wrong? I must be wrong!”.

Then I started searching online, just to be 100% sure. And that’s when I found some articles which explain current situation.
What I Found Out
So, here’s the deal, and it’s kind of a bummer. It turns out that, at least for now, you can’t get NFL Sunday Ticket with DirecTV Stream. They have something to do with their older contracts with the NFL.
Double-Checking Everything
Even after reading that, I wanted to be absolutely certain. I mean, these things can change, right? So I spend a lot of time reading posts on forums. Just to make sure.
The Final Verdict
Yep, it’s confirmed. No NFL Sunday Ticket on DirecTV Stream for now. It’s a bit disappointing, I have to admit.
