Man, this morning I woke up and saw the news about “Mike Tyson’s Daughter Killed”. It’s just awful. I couldn’t even imagine. So I decided to dig a little deeper, see what I could find out about this tragedy.
First, I just googled “Mike Tyson daughter” to get the basics. It popped up right away that his daughter, Exodus, died back in 2009. She was only four years old.
Digging Deeper
I wanted to understand the detail of the circumstances, so i start to read some articles.

- I opened up a couple of news articles from back then, you know, the older ones from when it actually happened. They had more of the initial reports.
- I read through, that Exodus was found by her 7-year-old brother, she was tangled in a cord on a treadmill. It looked like a horrible, freak accident.
- I looked for official statements. It is reported her mom found her, and she was rushed to the hospital, but it was too late.
Trying to Piece it Together
From what I could gather, It seems like her neck got caught on a cord hanging down from the treadmill console. The articles described it like she was playing, and it just… happened. I mean, a treadmill, it’s something you see in a house all the time. You’d never think…
Then I start scroll through some newer articles, you know, reflecting on the tragedy years later.
I can tell that It’s so heavy for a parent, and i think Tyson’s family must have been through hell.
I just wanted to share, not for gossip, but because it hit me. Reminds you how fragile life is. Makes you want to hug your loved ones a little tighter, you know?
