Okay, so I wanted to figure out what channel the Iowa State football game was on. I’m a big fan, and I didn’t want to miss the game, you know?
First, I grabbed my phone and opened up the browser. Then I typed in “what channel is the Iowa State football game on” into the search bar. I hit enter, and a bunch of results popped up.
I scrolled through a few of them, and it looked like the answer depended on which game I was talking about. There was one game against Cincinnati that was going to be on FOX. That was cool because I knew I could get that channel no problem.

- I saw that the Cincinnati game was part of Week 12 of the college football season.
- It also mentioned that Tim Brando and Devin Gardner would be the commentators for that game, which is always good to know.
Then I noticed another result talking about a game against Iowa. That one was a bit different. It said the game was going to be on CBS. It also mentioned that it was Week 2 of the season.
- I checked the time for the Iowa game – 2:30 PM CT on Saturday. That worked for me.
- Besides watching it on regular TV, I found that I could stream it on something called Fubo or Paramount+. I guess that’s another way of streaming it on different platforms.
I also found a little more info about the teams. Both Iowa and Iowa State are known for having strong defenses. Apparently, Iowa was top-five in total defense and scoring defense last year.
So, here’s what I figured out:
- If I wanted to watch the Iowa State vs. Cincinnati game, I’d tune into FOX.
- If I wanted to watch the Iowa State vs. Iowa game, I’d switch to CBS.
It was pretty easy to find the information once I knew where to look. Now I’m all set to watch the games! Go Cyclones!
