Okay, so I’ve been trying to figure out this whole NFL Sunday Ticket thing on my Roku, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I mean, I’m a huge football fan, but I’m not exactly a tech wizard. So, I figured I’d share my experience here, in case anyone else is in the same boat.
First off, I learned that NFL Sunday Ticket is basically this package that lets you watch all the out-of-market Sunday football games. You know, the ones that aren’t shown on your regular local channels. This is a game-changer, literally, for fans who don’t want to miss out on their favorite teams just because they live in a different city.
So, I started by searching online and found out that YouTube now has the NFL Sunday Ticket. I was like, “YouTube? Really?” I guess it makes sense, everyone’s on YouTube these days, even your grandma. But I have a Roku, and I wanted it there.

I dug a little deeper and saw that there’s a discount for college students, which is pretty cool. Not a student anymore, unfortunately, but it might be helpful for some of you guys. There was also something about a sale going on, like $89 for the rest of the year. Score!
Here’s what I did to actually get it on my Roku:
- I went to the YouTube app on my Roku. It’s already there, so that was easy.
- Then I searched for NFL Sunday Ticket within the YouTube app. Just type it in the search bar.
- Once I found it, I followed the prompts to sign up. It’s a bit of a process, you gotta enter your payment info and all that jazz. I used my Google account, and it was pretty smooth sailing from there.
And that’s it! Now I can watch all those Sunday games that aren’t on my local channels, right on my Roku. It’s pretty awesome. I hope this helps some of you out there who are trying to figure this out. It’s definitely worth it if you’re a big NFL fan like me!
One thing I did notice is that some pop-ups might appear on your Roku. They tell you the name of the website next to the browser’s name. Keep an eye out for those, they might be useful.
Anyway, I am so happy to have finally figured out how to watch NFL Sunday Ticket on my Roku, and I hope this information helps all of you football fans out there. If you run into any other issues, feel free to drop a comment below and I will try my best to help. Go team!
