Alright, so you wanna know which states don’t got no NFL teams, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it’s more than you might think. Them fellas in the big city, they got their teams, but lots of places ain’t so lucky.
You see, there’s this thing called the NFL, right? National Football League. Big deal, lots of money, fancy players. But they ain’t spreadin’ the love everywhere. They got teams in, what, 22 states? That leaves a whole bunch, 28 to be exact, without nothin’.
Lots of states ain’t got no team at all. I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ ‘bout how some places just ain’t big enough or got enough people to have a team. Makes sense, I guess. You need a lot of folks to fill them big stadiums and buy all them expensive tickets and jerseys.

- Like, you take them states out West, places like Idaho, Montana, Wyoming. Nothin’.
- Then you got them Dakotas, North and South. Nope.
- Nebraska, Iowa? Zip.
- Down South, Arkansas and Mississippi? Nada.
- Kentucky, West Virginia? Nothin’ there either.
And it ain’t just them little places, you know? You got Virginia, Alabama…big states, but still no NFL. Then you got Alaska and Hawaii, way out there. They got their own problems, I reckon, football ain’t high on the list.
And don’t even get me started on them little states up North. Delaware, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island… They too small, I guess. No room for a big ol’ football field, maybe? Heck, I dunno. But they ain’t got no teams, that’s for sure.
Now, some places, they got it good. California, they got like, three teams! Show-offs, I tell ya. Florida, they got a few too. And some other places, they got two. But most places, they got nothin’. Just gotta watch them other folks play on TV, I guess.
It ain’t fair, you know? All them folks in them small towns, they love football just as much as the city slickers. They got their high school teams, they cheer them on. But they ain’t got no big-league team to call their own. Maybe someday, things will change. Maybe them NFL fellas will decide to spread the wealth a little. But until then, a whole lotta states just gotta sit and watch from the sidelines.
I heard someone sayin’ somethin’ about how some places don’t have major league teams in any other sport neither. Like, baseball, basketball, hockey… nothin’! Poor fellas. At least with football, even if you don’t have a team in your state, you can still see it on TV all the time. But I think it’s important to have a team in your state, you know? It gives people something to be proud of, something to get excited about.
Anyway, that’s the long and short of it. Twenty-eight states ain’t got no NFL teams. Some big, some small, but all missin’ out on the fun. Maybe someday, that’ll change. But for now, that’s just the way it is.

So, there you have it. A whole bunch of places without no NFL team. Makes you think, don’t it? All that money, all that excitement, and a whole lot of folks left out in the cold. Well, that’s just the way the world works, I guess. Some folks got it all, and some folks just gotta make do with what they got.
It ain’t the end of the world, though. Life goes on, even without an NFL team. Folks find other things to do, other things to cheer for. But it sure would be nice if everyone had a team to call their own, wouldn’t it?
