Alright, so you wanna know if this Dish thingy carries the NFL Network, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it’s a bit of a howdy-do, but I’ll try to make it plain as day for ya.
First off, what’s this NFL Network anyways? Sounds fancy, but from what I gather, it’s like a whole channel just for football. Football all day, every day! Can you imagine? Them fellas running around, throwing that ball, and knocking each other down… Goodness gracious!
Now, about this Dish… It’s one of them satellite TV deals, right? Like a little box that sits on top of your TV and brings in all the channels. My grandson, he’s got one of them. Always fiddling with it, he is. Says it’s got all sorts of stuff on it, more than I can shake a stick at.

- So, does Dish have the NFL Network? Well, from what I hear, it does!
- They got it on channel 154, or so they say.
- You can watch all sorts of football games on it, the whole season’s worth, I reckon.
But here’s the kicker, you gotta pay for it, of course. Nothin’s free in this world, not even watching them fellas play football. And it ain’t cheap, neither. My grandson was grumbling about the bill the other day, said it was higher than a cow’s eye. But he loves his football, so he pays it. Goes to show, people will pay a pretty penny for what they want.
Now, they say you can watch over a hundred games with this Dish thing. A hundred games! That’s a whole lotta football, if you ask me. And they got this other thing called NFL Redzone, too. Sounds like somethin’ fancy, but I figure it’s just more football. They also have ESPN, which is another place they show the games. So, you’re covered, football-wise, if you got Dish, that’s for sure.
And get this, you can even watch the games on your phone now! Can you believe it? My grandson was showing me the other day, watching the game on that little screen. Said it was called the Dish Anywhere app. Anywhere! You can watch football anywhere! Times sure have changed, haven’t they? Back in my day, we listened to the games on the radio, if we were lucky. Now you can watch ’em on a little box in your hand, no matter where you are.
But let me tell you somethin’, all this fancy technology, it can be a real pain in the neck. My grandson’s always fiddling with the wires and the remotes and whatnot. And sometimes the signal goes out, and then he’s huffin’ and puffin’ like a steam engine. I tell him, “Just go outside and throw a ball yourself, it’ll be good for ya!” But he just shakes his head and says I don’t understand. Maybe I don’t, but I do know that sometimes the simple things are the best.
Anyway, back to this Dish and the NFL Network. Seems like they had a bit of a squabble a while back, Dish and the NFL folks. Somethin’ about money, I reckon. Always is, isn’t it? But they worked it out, thank goodness. Otherwise, my grandson would be mopin’ around like a lost calf. He needs his football, that’s for sure.
So, there you have it. Dish carries the NFL Network, channel 154. You can watch a whole heap of football games, on your TV or your phone, if you’re willin’ to pay for it. It ain’t cheap, but if you love football like my grandson does, then I guess it’s worth it. Me? I’d rather watch the birds and the squirrels in my backyard, but to each their own, I say.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about football has made me hungry. And don’t you worry about all them technical details. Just call up Dish, and they’ll set you up. They’re good at takin’ your money, that’s for sure. Just be sure to read the fine print, so you know what you’re gettin’ into. And don’t let them talk you into anythin’ you don’t need. That’s the most important thing, I reckon.
In short, Dish got the NFL Network. You just gotta pay for it. Simple as that.
