Alright, let’s talk about this wrestling stuff, you know, the WWE. Folks always wonderin’ about who pays for what, especially when these fellas are flyin’ all over the place.
So, does WWE pay for travel? Well, it’s a bit of a mixed bag, you see. From what I hear, they do pay for the plane tickets, yes sir, all them flights, whether it’s to another state or even another country. That’s good, right? Saves them wrestlers a pretty penny, I reckon. Imagine havin’ to buy your own plane ticket every week! Lordy, that’d be expensive.
- Flights: WWE picks up the tab for the flights. That’s for sure. International or right here in the USA, they pay.
- Hotels: Now, this is where it gets tricky. Them wrestlers, they gotta pay for their own hotels. Can you believe it? They travel all over, puttin’ on a show, and they still gotta shell out money for a place to sleep. Seems a bit unfair, if you ask me.
- Rental Cars: And the cars? Yep, they gotta pay for those too. Rent ‘em themselves, drive themselves around. Heard some of ‘em share rides, try to save a little money. Smart, I say. Why spend more than you have to?
So, yeah, WWE pays for the big stuff, the flights. But all the little things, the hotels, the cars, that comes outta the wrestlers’ pockets. It ain’t cheap, I tell ya. And I heard wrestlers make good money, like $125,952 a year, that’s what I heard, but still, paying for hotels and cars all the time…that adds up.
Now, some folks say it’s fair, some say it ain’t. I don’t know. Seems to me like if you’re workin’ for a big company like WWE, they should take care of everything. But what do I know? I’m just an old woman talkin’.
I saw on TV once, they got this show, “Ride Along.” Shows them wrestlers drivin’ around, talkin’. Seems like they spend a lot of time in cars, goin’ from town to town. Must be tirin’. And expensive! All that gas money, on top of the rental fee. It ain’t no picnic, that’s for sure.
I heard someone say something about a “travel allowance” or somethin’ like that. Like maybe the WWE gives them some extra money to help with expenses? Maybe, maybe not. I ain’t sure about that. It’s all hush-hush, you know. They don’t tell us everything.
And what about those big events, the really big ones? Well, I reckon WWE might cover more for them. Maybe they pay for the hotels then, or give the wrestlers a nicer car. I heard someone say sometimes if they’re big stars, or there’s a lot of press around, then WWE might take care of more stuff. Makes sense, I guess. Gotta keep them big names happy, right?
And some other TV shows, not “Ride Along” since that’s optional, I think for those, WWE will pay for all the travel, the flights, the hotels, all of it. Since it’s for their TV shows, you know, to make more money.
But generally speaking, it’s like this: flights are covered, but the rest is on the wrestlers. They gotta be careful with their money, that’s for sure. It ain’t all glitz and glamour, you know. There’s a lot of hard work, a lot of travel, and a lot of expenses. Being a wrestler, it’s not easy work. It’s hard on the body and hard on the wallet, even though they get paid more than I ever seen in my life.

So, there you have it. That’s what I know about WWE payin’ for travel. It ain’t simple, that’s for sure. But that’s how it is. You just gotta take it as it comes, I guess. And those wrestlers, they tough. They handle it, travel all over. I would be tired. I’m tired just thinking about it.
