Well, alright then, let’s talk ’bout this here soccer game, Colorado Rapids versus New York Red Bulls. Heard folks chatterin’ ’bout it, so figured I’d put in my two cents, you know?
So, these fellas, the Rapids and the Bulls, they gonna be kickin’ the ball around on July 14th, 2024. That’s bright and early, 1:30 in the mornin’, UTC time. They playin’ at somethin’ called Dick’s Sportin’ Goods Park. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Probably got one of them fancy grass carpets, not like my ol’ backyard where the chickens peck at everything.
Now, I hear tell these teams, they already went at it on July 13th. Ended up in a tie, one to one. Heard it was a real nail-biter! This fella Sean Nealis, plays for the Bulls, he done kicked the ball into his own goal. Bless his heart, probably felt real bad after that. But that’s how the Rapids got their point, so good for them, I reckon.
Folks keep talkin’ ’bout scores and news and such. I ain’t got the patience for all that, but I did hear someone say the Rapids, they been on a streak, not gettin’ beat for a spell. Good on ’em! Means they must be doin’ somethin’ right, huh?
Now, if you’re one of them fancy folks who likes to watch these games, you can see it online, they say. Somethin’ ’bout a live stream. I dunno, sounds like somethin’ you do with a fishin’ pole, but I guess it means watchin’ it on the computer or somethin’.
If you wanna go see it in person, you gotta get tickets. There’s this thing called StubHub, and another one called Vivid Seats. They sell tickets, I guess. They say you can get alerts and customer support and all that. Sounds like a lot of fuss, but I suppose if you really wanna go, you gotta do what you gotta do.
- Heard they got somethin’ called a game summary, tells you what happened. Probably good for folks who can’t sit still and watch the whole thing.
- And they got previews and stats too. Don’t know what that means, but sounds like numbers and such. Guess some folks like that sorta thing.
- Commentary? That’s just people talkin’ ’bout the game, right? Well, I can do that myself, no need for fancy talkers!
So, there you have it. Rapids versus Bulls. Should be a good game, I reckon. Hope them fellas kick the ball real good and don’t get hurt. And maybe someone will score without helpin’ the other team, eh?
