So, the other day, I got it into my head that I wanted to check out this Will Cotter guy, the football player. I’d heard some buzz about him, and being the naturally curious person I am, I decided to do some digging.
I started by searching for his videos online. You know how it is, you get a name, and the first thing you do is hit up the internet, right? Anyway, I found a bunch of his highlights on some site. It was pretty cool to see him in action.
Here’s what I did:

- First, I watched a bunch of his videos. I saw him making some impressive plays, running like the wind, and throwing the ball with some serious power. It was like watching a highlight reel of all the best moments in a football game.
- Then, I dug a little deeper. I found out he’s played for a few different teams. He was at Williams College, then Arnold High School, and later Summit High School. Kid’s been around, it seems.
- I also noticed he’s primarily a quarterback. Makes sense, given all those throwing highlights I saw. But I also saw he played as a tight end sometimes. Versatile guy, I thought.
Diving Deeper
I got more interested and began to read some articles about his games. One mentioned a game where he rushed for 117 yards and scored two touchdowns. He also threw for 122 yards! That’s a heck of a game. This guy was no joke. I was more impressed now.
I even tried to find out more about him as a person, you know, beyond the football field. I saw he was a seven-time letter winner in high school. That’s a lot of dedication right there. And I found some recruiting profiles about him, but they didn’t tell me much I didn’t already know.
The last thing I did was look for any blogs or articles written by him. I wanted to see if he shared his own thoughts on his experiences. I didn’t find much, but it would have been interesting to see things from his perspective.
So, that’s my little journey into the world of Will Cotter, the football player. It was a fun little deep dive, and I feel like I got a good sense of who he is, at least on the field. Who knows, maybe I’ll catch one of his games live someday.
