Okay, so, I’ve been digging into this whole thing about whether Cox has the NFL Network. It’s game day, and you just gotta have your football fix, right? So, I started off by trying to figure out where to even find the channel. First I grabbed my remote and started scrolling through the guide. Nothing. Not a good start.
Then I thought, “Maybe it’s just not on my current package.” So I pulled up the Cox website. I had to find the right area for my city first, which took a second. Once I did that, I looked at their different TV packages. They’ve got like a bunch of options, it’s kind of nuts.
- Starter: Nope, no NFL Network here.
- Preferred: Hmm, still nothing. This is getting annoying.
- Ultimate: Bingo! There it is, NFL Network is included.
Now, I already had a TV package, but it wasn’t the Ultimate one. Turns out, I needed to upgrade if I wanted to watch. I also saw they had this thing called a “Contour TV” subscription. And guess what? You can add the NFL Network to that, too. So that’s another way to get it.

I ended up upgrading my package. It was a bit more money, but hey, football season is important! After the upgrade went through, I checked the guide again. And there it was! NFL Network, live and in color. I also found out that they have NFL RedZone on a different channel, which is pretty awesome for keeping up with all the games at once.
What I learned
Cox definitely does offer the NFL Network, but you gotta make sure you have the right TV package. It’s not on the basic ones, you need to get their “Ultimate” package, or add it to your “Contour TV” subscription. It might cost a little extra, but if you’re a big football fan like me, it’s totally worth it. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I hear “Good Morning Football” calling my name. Time to enjoy some game day.
