So, I was trying to figure out who sang the national anthem at tonight’s NFL game. It’s always a big deal, you know? Who gets to do the honors and all that.
I started by just poking around online, just casual like. I saw that a vocalist named Justin Aaron was tapped to sing it before a Monday Night Football game. That’s cool, right? Prime time and everything. The kickoff was supposed to be at 7:15 p.m. CT on November 4th, and he was gonna sing just before that.
Then I stumbled on something about Coco Jones. Apparently, she did an awesome job singing the anthem at the start of the NFL season. I also read something about Taylor Swift – she wasn’t doing it, though. I mean, could you imagine her with a guitar doing the anthem?

My search took another turn and brought me to Tasha Cobbs Leonard. Now, I found out she was gonna sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” And there was another main performer for the night, some guy named Quinn XCII.
- Justin Aaron: Got the gig for a Monday Night Football game.
- Coco Jones: Killed it at the season’s kickoff.
- Tasha Cobbs Leonard: Set to sing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
- Quinn XCII: Another big name for the night.
Who Sang It Internationally?
Then my search went international! I saw that Luisa Sonza sang the Brazilian National Anthem for the NFL’s first time there. That’s a huge deal for her and Brazil.
Who Sang It Tonight?
This was a real head-scratcher. The game was in San Francisco, so that might be a clue, but who knows.
Finally, I hit the jackpot! I found out that for the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Commanders in the Wild Card matchup, it was Robin Zander! You know, the lead singer of Cheap Trick? That’s pretty legendary if you ask me. It wasn’t tonight’s game, but hey, the search was wild, right?
So, there you have it. My little adventure into finding out who sang the national anthem at NFL games. It turned into a bigger search than I expected, but that’s the fun of it, isn’t it?
