Alright, so you wanna know what TV channel that there NASCAR race is on today, huh? Well, let me tell ya, it ain’t always easy figuring these things out. These TV folks, they like to move things around, ya know? One day it’s on one channel, the next day it’s somewhere else. Drives me crazy, it does.
But hold on, let me think. I heard some folks talking down at the store the other day. They was saying somethin’ about the big race, the one with all them fancy cars goin’ round and round. They said, and I’m pretty sure I remember this right, they said it was gonna be on NBC. Yep, that’s it. NBC. You know, the one with the peacock. Fancy, ain’t it?
Now, if you’re up in Canada, things might be a bit different. I ain’t never been to Canada, but I hear they got their own TV channels up there. So, if you’re up there with them maple syrup folks, you might need to look for TSN. That’s what they said, TSN. Don’t ask me what it stands for, I ain’t got a clue.

And get this, these young folks nowadays, they don’t even watch TV like we do. They got these fancy phones and computers, and they watch everything on somethin’ called the “internet.” Can you believe it? They said you can watch the race on somethin’ called Fubo. Foo-boh? Sounds like some kind of food to me. But they say it’s got all the sports you could ever want. And they even said you can try it out for free for a week. A whole week! That’s pretty good, I reckon.
- So, to recap, the race is on NBC in the US.
- And it’s on TSN in Canada.
- And you can watch it on somethin’ called Fubo if you got that fancy internet stuff.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I like to watch the race on the TV. Big screen, ya know? Makes it feel like you’re right there at the track. And I like to have some snacks while I’m watchin’. Maybe some chips, or some of them little sausages. Oh, and a good ol’ glass of sweet tea. That’s the way to watch a race, let me tell ya.
But sometimes, things ain’t so simple. Sometimes the race gets delayed, or they change the channel at the last minute. And then you’re stuck there, flippin’ through channels, tryin’ to find the darn thing. It’s a pain, I tell ya. That’s why I always try to find out ahead of time what channel it’s gonna be on. Saves me a lot of trouble.
And let me tell you somethin’ else about these races. They’re loud! Real loud. I went to a race once, a long time ago. My ears were ringin’ for days afterwards. But it was exciting, I’ll give ’em that. All them cars zoomin’ around, the crowd cheerin’. It’s somethin’ else.
But you know, at the end of the day, it don’t really matter what channel the race is on, or if you’re watchin’ it on TV or on that fancy internet thing. What matters is that you’re enjoyin’ yourself. That’s what life’s all about, ain’t it? Findin’ somethin’ you enjoy and doin’ it. So, whether you’re watchin’ the race, or gardenin’, or just sittin’ on the porch swing, make sure you’re havin’ a good time. That’s the most important thing.
Oh, and one more thing. If you’re watchin’ the race on TV, make sure you got the volume turned up good and loud. You wanna hear them engines roar! And if you got neighbors, well, they’ll just have to deal with it, won’t they? It’s race day, after all!

And I almost forgot, they were yappin’ about some race at Martinsville Speedway, the Xfinity 500 they called it. Said it’s on November 3rd, starts at 1 p.m. Central Time, I think they said. And wouldn’t you know it, it’s on NBC again. Seems like they like that channel a lot.
So there you have it. Everything you need to know about watchin’ that there NASCAR race. Now go on and enjoy it!
