Alright, so you wanna watch that Mizzou football, huh? It ain’t that hard, even for an old woman like me to figure out. Let me tell ya how I do it.
First thing’s first, you gotta know when they’re playin’. Them football fellas, they don’t play all the time, you know. They got a schedule, just like we got chores to do. So, you gotta find that schedule. Where? Well, I just ask my grandson, he knows all that stuff. But you, you can probably find it on the internet, on that…what do they call it… Mizzou Tigers website, I think. They post all sorts of things there, like when the games are and who they’re playin’ against. Like them Arkansas Razorbacks, or that Middle Tennessee team. They even play them Oklahoma fellas sometimes, my grandson tells me.
Okay, so now you know when the game is. Now you gotta figure out where to watch it. This is where it gets a little tricky, but don’t you worry, I’ll make it simple. Sometimes, the games are on TV. You know, that box in the livin’ room? Yeah, that one. They say it’s on the “SEC Network” or somethin’. My grandson, he fiddles with the buttons and finds it for me. Tom Hart, he does the talkin’ during the game, and that Jordan Rodgers fella, he explains things. They seem to know what they’re talkin’ about, so I just listen to them.

But sometimes, the game ain’t on regular TV. Then what? Well, then you gotta use that internet thing again. They call it “streamin’” the game. Sounds fancy, but it ain’t. It’s just like watchin’ TV, but on your computer or your phone. My grandson showed me how to do it once. You gotta go to a website, or maybe use an app. I don’t really understand all that, but he says it’s easy. He says somethin’ about “SEC Network+” too. I guess that’s another place to watch the games.
Now, sometimes these games are at different times. Like that game against Arkansas, my grandson said it was at 3:30 p.m. ET on a Saturday. What’s ET? I don’t know, some kinda time they use in the city, I guess. But the important thing is, you gotta know when the game starts so you don’t miss it. And sometimes they play at 7:00 p.m. ET, like when they played that Buffalo Bulls team.
- Find the game schedule.
- Figure out if it’s on TV (SEC Network).
- If not, try streaming it online (SEC Network+ or other websites/apps).
- Know the game time (like 3:30 p.m. ET or 7:00 p.m. ET).
So, that’s pretty much it. It ain’t rocket science, even for an old gal like me. Just find the schedule, figure out where to watch it, and make sure you know when the game starts. And if you get stuck, just ask a young person. They seem to know everything about this stuff.
Oh, and one more thing. Sometimes them Mizzou fellas win, and sometimes they lose. Don’t get too worked up about it. It’s just a game, after all. Just like when my chickens don’t lay enough eggs, I don’t go yellin’ at them. I just feed ’em more and hope for the best next time. Same with football. Just enjoy the game, and cheer for them Tigers. Go Mizzou!
One last bit of advice, if you’re watchin’ online, make sure you got a good internet connection. Nothin’ worse than the game freezin’ up right when somethin’ exciting is happenin’. It’s like when you’re bakin’ a pie and the oven quits on ya. A real pain in the neck, I tell ya. So, make sure that internet thingy is workin’ good, and you’ll be all set to watch them Mizzou Tigers play their hearts out.
And don’t forget to have some snacks ready! Watchin’ football ain’t the same without somethin’ to munch on. I like to have some popcorn or maybe some of them store-bought cookies. Makes the whole thing more enjoyable, you know? Just like havin’ a good cup of coffee with your breakfast. It’s the little things that make life better, and watchin’ football with some tasty treats is definitely one of ’em.

Now you go on and enjoy that Mizzou football. And if you see me around, you can tell me all about it. I always like hearin’ about how them boys are doin’.
That’s all I gotta say about that. Go Mizzou!
