Well, howdy there, y’all! Today, we’re gonna jaw about somethin’ called “am radio nascar,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy, huh? But don’t you worry none, I’ll make it plain as day, just like Ma used to make biscuits.
So, first off, this “nascar” thing, it’s got somethin’ to do with them cars that go zoomin’ around real fast. You know, the kind that makes a whole lotta noise and goes in circles? Yeah, that’s the one. And seems like you can listen to it on the radio, on somethin’ called “am.” Now, I ain’t no spring chicken, but I remember listenin’ to stories and music on the radio, way back when. Guess they still do that, even with them fancy picture boxes everyone’s got now.
Listenin’ to the Races:

- They say you can listen to these races live, so you know what’s happenin’ right when it’s happenin’. Kinda like listenin’ to the hog auction, but with more vroom vroom and less oink oink.
- And there’s this “Motor Racing Network,” sounds all highfalutin, don’t it? Well, they’re the folks that tell you all about the racin’ on the radio. They talk about this “NASCAR” and other car races too. Guess they got a lot to say about them fast cars.
- And get this, you can even hear what the drivers are sayin’ durin’ the race! Can you imagine? Probably a whole lotta “go faster” and maybe some cussin’ when things go wrong. You gotta pay extra for that though, somethin’ they call a “premium plan.” Sounds like them city folks and their fancy ways of gettin’ more money out of ya.
- Seems like there’s a bunch of places to hear these races. They got these channels – FOX, FS1, NBC – and a bunch of other ways to listen, like on your phone or somethin’. Lands sakes, back in my day, we just had one radio, and that was good enough!
What Else is on the Radio?
Now, I ain’t just gonna talk about this “nascar.” The radio’s got all sorts of things you can listen to. They got shows where folks talk about things, news, music – all kinds of stuff. You can even find out about other races, not just this “NASCAR.” They got somethin’ called “ARCA” too. Sounds like a bunch of letters to me, but I guess it’s important to some folks.
Findin’ That Radio Stuff:
If you’re lookin’ to listen to this “am radio nascar,” you gotta find it first. Seems like they got this “ebay” thing where you can buy stuff, even radios. And they say over 70% of it is new, whatever that means. Back in my day, if it worked, it worked, new or not. And you can find these “scanner radios” too, I guess they help you listen in on the races. Sounds complicated, but I reckon young folks these days can figure it out.
Why Listen to the Radio?
Now, you might be askin’ yourself, “Why listen to the radio when you can watch them cars on TV?” Well, I’ll tell you, sometimes it’s nice to just sit back and listen. You can do other things while you’re listenin’, like knittin’ or cookin’ or just rockin’ on the porch. And sometimes, your imagination can make things even more excitin’ than watchin’ it on a screen. Plus, ain’t nothin’ like hearin’ the roar of them engines and the crowd yellin’ – makes you feel like you’re right there at the race, even if you’re just sittin’ in your kitchen.

So, there you have it, a whole bunch of jabberin’ about “am radio nascar.” It’s about listenin’ to car races on the radio, plain and simple. They got all sorts of ways to do it, and all sorts of things to listen to. And if you ask me, it’s a pretty good way to pass the time, whether you’re a fan of them fast cars or not. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits.
