Alright, so y’all wanna know what happened to that big fella, Brock Lesnar, huh? The one who used to stomp around in that wrestlin’ ring? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t pretty. Things got real messy, real fast. They say he’s been, what’s the word… erased. Yeah, like he never even existed in that WWE world no more.
First off, they took him off that video game cover, you know, the one with all them Wrestlemania fellas. Forty Years of Wrestlemania, they called it. Used to see his big mug right there on the front, but poof! Gone. Like a fart in the wind, he was.
Then, there was this big to-do, some kind of trouble. Folks started whisperin’ ’bout a lawsuit. Seems like some lady, Janel Grant her name was, she worked for the WWE too, she came out and said some nasty things happened. Said she was, well, forced into doin’ things she didn’t wanna do with some wrestler fella. And wouldn’t ya know it, they say this fella was a big ol’ UFC champ, just like Brock.
- They yanked him outta that Royal Rumble thing. Big deal, that Rumble. Always a hoot to watch, but not this year, not with Brock gone.
- Heard tell they ain’t plannin’ on usin’ him for Wrestlemania 40 neither. That’s the big one, y’all know. The Super Bowl of wrestlin’. But no Brock.
It’s like they’re tryin’ to make us forget all about him. Like he never even body-slammed nobody, never even yelled at the crowd. WWE is scrubbin’ him clean outta their history, pretendin’ he ain’t never been there. It’s a shame, really. He was a strong one, that Brock. Always put on a good show, even if he did look like he wanted to eat a whole dang cow sometimes.
This whole mess started with that Vince McMahon fella, the big boss man. He got himself into some hot water with that lawsuit too, and now he’s gone. Folks sayin’ maybe Vince and Brock gonna start their own wrestlin’ thing, but who knows? Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me.
Now, I heard Brock had to go get himself fixed up too. Some kinda surgery, they said. Took out a whole foot of his innards! Said it was his colon or somethin’. Poor fella. Maybe that’s why he ain’t been around. But then again, maybe it’s all that other stuff, that lawsuit mess. It’s hard to keep track of it all, y’know?
He had a good contract, that’s for sure. Made a whole lotta money, I bet. But money can’t fix everything, can it? Sometimes, you just gotta face the music, even if it ain’t a pretty tune. And right now, it seems like Brock’s music ain’t playin’ too sweet.
So, what did Brock do? Well, nobody’s sayin’ for sure, not in plain English anyway. But it sounds like he got mixed up in somethin’ bad, somethin’ that made the WWE want to wash their hands of him. Maybe he did somethin’ wrong, maybe he just got caught in the crossfire. Either way, he’s gone now, like he never even laced up them boots.
It’s a funny thing, this wrestlin’ business. One minute you’re on top of the world, the next you’re nothin’ but a memory. And right now, Brock Lesnar is just that… a memory. A big, ol’, cow-eatin’ memory, but a memory nonetheless. Makes ya think, don’t it? Makes ya think about how quick things can change, how fast you can go from hero to zero.
It ain’t right, what they done to that poor Janel girl, if those stories are true. And it ain’t right to just erase someone like they never existed neither. But that’s the way the world works sometimes. Big fellas fall just as hard as the little ones.
