Alright, so you wanna know about this NASCAR qualifyin’ thing, huh? When’s it happenin’? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t always the same. These fellas, they race all over the place, and the times, they change like the weather.
Sometimes, it’s early in the mornin’, like 8:50 a.m. That’s Central Time, mind you. I ain’t sure where you’re at, but you gotta figure that out yourself. Other times, it’s later, like 1 p.m. or even 4:20 p.m. See? All different.
Now, how do you watch it? That’s another thing that changes. Sometimes, it ain’t even on TV! Can you believe that? They say it’s on some “app” thing, the NBC Sports app. You gotta pay for that, I reckon. Or you can listen on the radio, SiriusXM they call it, and some other one, PRN.
- Early mornin’ qualifyin’ – around 8:50 a.m. CT
- Afternoon qualifyin’ – around 1 p.m. CT or 4:20 p.m. CT
- Watchin’ on TV – sometimes it ain’t on TV, just on the app
- Listenin’ on the radio – SiriusXM or PRN
And then there’s the USA Network, sometimes they show it. But you gotta check, you know? They don’t make it easy, that’s for sure. And sometimes, it’s on *, but you probably gotta pay for that too. Everything costs money these days, ain’t that the truth?
I heard tell of a fella, Martin Truex Jr. He’s retirin’, you know. Last race and all. He got the pole position, that means he starts first. They had that qualifyin’ over in Phoenix, Arizona. That was on a Saturday, November 9th, 2024. See, they do it on Saturdays mostly, but the times, they still change.
So, if you wanna know for sure, you gotta look it up. Find yourself one of them “schedules” or somethin’. They got ’em online, I hear. Just type in what you wanna know, like “NASCAR qualifyin’ times” or somethin’ like that. And make sure you know which race you’re lookin’ for, ’cause they go all over the place, like I said.
It’s a whole lot of fuss, if you ask me. But folks seem to like it, watchin’ them cars go ’round and ’round. Me, I’d rather sit on the porch with a glass of sweet tea, but to each their own, I always say.
So, to recap: No set time, gotta check the schedule. Sometimes TV, sometimes app, sometimes radio. It’s always changing, so you best keep your eyes peeled, or your ears open, dependin’ on how you’re followin’ along. And don’t forget to check your time zone, ’cause that’s important too.
These fellas, they drive fast, but findin’ out the qualifyin’ time, that can be a slow process. Just gotta be patient and do a little diggin’. And if all else fails, ask your neighbor, maybe they know. Or their grandkid, those young’uns know everything about computers these days.
